Collection of Personal Information
The Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) collects no personal information about you when you visit this website unless you choose to provide that information. On the E-Alerts page, you can voluntarily submit your name and email address to subscribe to OSHRC’s notification service, and on the FOIA page, you can voluntarily submit certain personal information online to file a FOIA request with the agency. Both pages include Privacy Act Statements explaining why your personal information is collected and how it could be disclosed. In addition, OSHRC’s privacy page includes fillable forms for requesting access to records, or consenting to disclosure of records, under the Privacy Act. These forms, however, are downloaded by the requester and are not submitted through the agency’s website. Finally, OSHRC’s website includes a link to the agency’s E-Filing System. This link, however, takes you to a different website that has its own Privacy Policy.
Please visit the website’s Privacy page if you would like more information about your rights under the Privacy Act. The Privacy page includes links to OSHRC’s Privacy Act regulations, as well as system-of-records notices for both this website and the E-Filing System. Among other things, the records notices explain how OSHRC stores and safeguards personal information.
This website does not store any data on the behavior of website visitors.
Cybersecurity
OSHRC’s information systems may be protected by EINSTEIN cybersecurity capabilities, under the operational control of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity Information Security Agency (CISA). Electronic communications with the agency may be scanned by government-owned or contractor equipment to look for network traffic indicating known or suspected malicious cyber activity, including malicious content or communications. Electronic communications within the agency will be collected or retained by CISA only if they are associated with known or suspected cyber threats. CISA will use the information collected through EINSTEIN to analyze the known or suspected cyber threat and help OSHRC and other agencies respond and better protect their computers and networks.

For additional information about EINSTEIN capabilities, please see the EINSTEIN program-related Privacy Impact Assessments available on the DHS cybersecurity privacy website along with other information about the Federal Government’s cybersecurity activities.
